MEET THE SAVAGES! Haylie Brantley (#7) is a Junior speedster for the Broken Bow Lady Savage Fastpitch Softball team. Haylie can turn a bunt into a double from the batter's box and a line drive into a double play from her shortstop position. This morning, Mrs. McGee held Bennett’s first Weekly Perfect Attendance drawing. Students that are at school every day, all day for one whole week will be entered into the spinning wheel the following Monday. Drawings will be held every Monday for the whole school year.

MEET THE SAVAGES! Junior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back Korey Nnokam and his teammates had a bizarre experience at Idabel Friday night. After multiple delays for lightning near (and over) the Idabel Stadium, the game finally kicked off at 9:15pm. Not quite halfway through the first quarter, with then game still tied 0-0, the light grid went out and the game was cancelled. Nanotechnology is the manipulation of matter on a near-atomic scale to produce new structures, materials and devices. The technology promises scientific advancement in many sectors such as medicine, consumer products, energy, materials, and manufacturing.
MEET THE SAVAGES! Raylee Gaston (#5) is a Junior outfielder for the Broken Bow Lady Savage Fastpitch Softball team. Raylee's speed and athleticism make her a dangerous hitter and a swift fielder. She's a two-year starter on the basketball team and a state medalist in track. I know sometimes it can seem inconvenient but we will always keep the safety of our students and fans as a priority above everything else. It was the decision of both schools that the game will not be rescheduled. Our next game will be 9/22/23 at Madill as the Savages will start their journey to win the 4A -4 District Title. Tonight's Football Game at Idabel is delayed by a thunderstorm. The game will begin when the officials declare an all clear and the teams have had a chance to warm up. Expect it to be at least 45 minutes to one hour minimum.
