At BBHS, we encourage our students to get involved in extracurricular activities, clubs, and organizations. Being involved in these activities builds character, develops leadership skills, and helps students do better academically. We recently hosted a Club Fair for our student body. Student leaders and sponsors put together booths and visited with students to help them find their niche and help them discover a club that they may want to participate in.

Parents: we are experiencing a temporary interruption to phone and internet at all locations. We just wanted to let you know in case you are trying to contact the school.

This week we are busy with Homecoming festivities. We will have the parade and community wide Pep Rally Thursday evening. The parade will start from the High School around 7 PM and conclude at the football stadium; the Pep Rally will start around 7:30 PM or shortly thereafter. Each class can do a float. We will have a 🍕pizza party for the class with the best float, which will be judged during the parade. Be safe and have fun!

Happy Homecoming Week! We love it when our community participates with us. Don't forget the Parade on Thursday at 7 pm and Pep Rally at 7:30!

Last school year, BBHS started a ‘Fun Day’ incentive each month to reward students for passing their classes and maintaining good attendance. We saw huge results! The amount of students failing classes was reduced by 50%!
We had our first Fun Day of the semester last week at the City Park. Students enjoyed a cook out, corn hole tournament, kick ball, basketball, fishing, and sidewalk art. Over 450 students qualified to participate. Students that did not qualify were able to stay in class and get caught up on missing assignments with the hopes of getting to participate next month.
