🏈It's Thursday Night lights tonight as the Hilldale Hornets invade Memorial Stadium for a key district match-up. Savage Varsity Football (5-1, 3-0) looks to remain unbeaten in District 4A-4 action against the talented Hornets (3-3, 2-1). Hilldale opened the season 1-3 while junior quarterback Dawson Fields was healing a broken foot but are 2-0 since his return to the lineup, including an impressive 47-35 win over Ada last week. Speedy wideout Brady Scott and versatile lineman Mason Forhan are also impact players for the Hornets.
The Savages have also played impressively during district action this season, holding their opponents to an average of just 102 yards per game of total offense while averaging 51.6 points scored in their three District 4A-4 routs. The Savages have produced 2,599 yards of offense in six games this season.
A clear bag policy is enforced at Memorial Stadium for all varsity games this season. Tonight's game kicks off at 7:00 PM and will be telecast on @BrokenBowSavages YouTube channel. Tickets are available at the gates for $5.00 (all ages).
