RJMS ALL SCHOOL READ IS WEDNESDAY!
"This is a long standing tradition at RJMS. When I was at the high school it was mentioned many times by my students and always as a fond memory. It is my hope that we continue to create the same fond memories in our current and future students.
For those of you who are new, the All School Read is a school wide day dedicated to fostering the joys of reading. This year, the RjMS All School Read will be on Wed., December 18th." -Ms. Compton

One teacher said she recognized a student for “using her intrinsic motivation to complete projects using skills the student had learned in her class.”
Some students had worked hard for the semester in a contest to win a new pair of CROCS. Students played a few games and 8th graders have the spirit stick back in their hallway.

Our 5th graders are on a roll this year!
Part of our 5th grade students went to George Puckett Senior Citizens Center today, where they were able to visit with our community members. Our students also sang Christmas carols, and practiced serving meals to each person. All of our kids did extremely well with introducing themselves to everyone, and we even noticed several of our students reaching out to shake hands!
Mrs Clardy said, “I can not brag enough on these kids, they are learning some important life skills that we hope they will continue as they get older.”
