H3 Time Travelers, a historical fiction book club, consisting of 20 Broken Bow middle school and high school students, traveled over 2500 miles from Monday, May 19th through Saturday, May 24th to visit some of America's most iconic places, with an ultimate destination of The Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
On the first day, they made stops at Express Clydesdales in Yukon, Ok and iconic Route 66 landmarks such as TeePee Curios and the Blue Swallow Motel in Tucumcari, NM.
On Day two, they continued their travels west, stopping at The El Rancho Motel for lunch where Hollywood legends such as the Duke, John Wayne, Catherine Hepburn, and Humphrey Bogart among others stayed while filming numerous westerns in the area. They also visited the Petrified Forest National Park, where they were able to view beautiful landscapes.
Day Three started in Williams, AZ as they boarded The Grand Canyon Railway and rode to The Grand Canyon Village. Upon arrival, they boarded a tour bus that took them to various stops along the Southern Rim of The Grand Canyon. After viewing the vast landscape, students made their way back to Flagstaff, where they switched gears and spent time at the Lowell observatory, viewing distant galaxies through special telescopes and star gazing. They were even able to participate in a presentation from NASA scientists, who shared information about the upcoming Artemis mission to the moon!

Ruger Richbourg recently attended auctioneering camp at Eastern Oklahoma State College, where he gained valuable skills in bid calling, public speaking, and the auctioneering industry. At the end of camp, Ruger participated in an auctioneering contest and had the exciting opportunity to auction off two items in front of a live audience. We're proud of Ruger for taking this opportunity to grow as a leader and represent our chapter with excellence! 🎤👏

▪️With 21 years of experience in education, 10 in special education and 11 in Pre-K, Mrs. Davis has touched the lives of countless students with her compassion, creativity, and dedication.
Her classroom is more than just a place to learn-it's her home away from home, thoughtfully decorated and filled with warmth, laughter, and learning.
She has been married for 35 years to her husband, Kevin. Together they've raised two children: their daughter Presley, who now serves the district as a speech pathologist, and their late son, Newt Davis, whose memory continues to inspire their family every day.
Her greatest joy outside the classroom is being "Glamma" to four wonderful grandchildren-Evan, Dawson, and the unforgettable twins, Jett and Rhett. Known for her love of decorating everything from birthday parties to Christmas trees, Mrs. Davis brings the same creativity and care into her classroom each and every day.
The Davis family are proud Savage fans through and through, and Diannia brings that same spirit and pride into everything she does.
Being named Teacher of the Year is a well-deserved recognition of her years of service, her heart for children, and her commitment to the values that make education so powerful!
Please help us congratulate the Broken Bow Public School’s 2024/2025 Teacher of the Year, DIANNIA DAVIS! 🏆🍎🖤💛
