💛🖤Our very own BBHS Dance Team had the amazing opportunity to perform in the Varsity All-American Pearl Harbor Day Parade. 🌺 Seniors Violet McCarrell, Olivia Fuson, and Kaeslynn Lansdell represented BBHS Dance Team as an All American Dancers for Varsity Spirit, in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Honolulu, HI. Dancers and cheerleaders who are invited to perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade are part of a select group of All-Americans identified at Varsity Spirit summer camps. All-Americans are based on superior dance or cheerleading skills, as well as leadership skills at camps. 🥇 These ladies were blessed to be able to perform with Varsity Spirit All-Americans in the parade before thousands of fans lining the streets of Waikiki Beach. This trip marks the 84th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. 🇺🇸 They had so much fun in Hawaii exploring the island culture, learning the history of Pearl Harbor, making new friends, and of course performing in the parade. Congratulations, Liv, Kaeslynn and Violet, on this amazing opportunity! BBHS Dance Team Varsity All-American Trip!

Teachers at Broken Bow volunteered to help raise money for Savage #Esports by agreeing to get tatted (temporarily)! Looking tough and tatted, Savages helped raise money to fund Savage Esports in their endeavors! Coach Kiper said, “It was so much fun, even principals got in on the fun!”

Today, our amazing 5th grade students visited the Broken Bow Rehabilitation Center to share the joy of the season. The kids filled the halls with Christmas carols, warm smiles, and holiday spirit, bringing happiness to the residents and staff alike. We are so proud of these students for showing kindness, compassion, and community pride. ❤️

It's the 16th overall final four appearance for Broken Bow but the first since 2010. This is Tuttle's 19th semifinal game and their third in the last five years. 🎄 Christmas in Indian Art 1! 🎄 Indian Art 1 students are getting into the holiday spirit by creating clay gingerbread houses! 🍬🏠 This project gives students a chance to apply their sculpture skills while thinking about structure and design, from shaping the forms to building stable, detailed houses. “It’s been great seeing how each student brings their own creativity to the project! I can’t wait to see them fully painted and decorated once they dry,” said Instructor Tolison.

✨ Shine On Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Bridgett Atwood! ✨ This week we are excited to celebrate Mrs. Bridgett Atwood, one of our wonderful 3rd Grade Teachers here at Bennett Elementary! Mrs. Atwood is in her 12th year of education and is currently in her 2nd year at Bennett — and we are so grateful she’s part of our Bennett family. 💛 When asked what she loves most about working at our school, she shared: 💬 “I love the positive environment that is created from all of our staff members!” ✨ A few fun facts about Mrs. Atwood: 🍪 Favorite snack: Arby’s Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie 🥪 Favorite restaurant: Subway 🐾 Fun fact: She loves animals! She has 5 dogs, 10 laying hens, 1 rooster, 3 ducks, and a friendly turkey at home! (She says there might even be a partridge in a pear tree!) 💡 Classroom mantra she teaches her students: “I am safe. I am kind. I am loved. I am strong. I am honest. I am confident.” She hopes every child believes this about themselves.
