Unfortunately, events like today are never fun. However, BBISD and Dierks Elementary will always err on the side of caution. With that being said, I would like to thank all of our parents/guardians for their patience and understanding as we dismissed nearly 400 of our babies today. It went as smoothly as possible thanks to you all and our wonderful staff. Also, a big thank you to the students. They were so well behaved and such good listeners, so please take a minute to brag on them at home this evening. We look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow as we wrap up our first full week of school. It's been just nearly perfect! 🖤💛
Thank you,
Lindsay Gaston, Principal
Dierks Elementary

It’s during stressful days like today that we truly are reminded of what great staff and students we truly have. Thank you all for stepping up today. Thank you also to the parents who came quickly, stayed calm and understanding during dismissal. Lastly a huge thank you to local and area law enforcement that kept us safe and handled the traffic during dismissal.
-Rector Johnson Middle School

A special THANK YOU to parents and guardians! 💛🖤

Students may now go to the BBHS parking lot to pick up their cars. We appreciate all members of the Savage Family!
