Broken Bow High School Varsity Cheer selected seniors Leah Billingsley and Sadie Sanders as their 2023/24 team captains. The team will be cheering and performing stunts at tonight's home football game against the Muskogee Hilldale Hornets. Savage Senior Sam Hurst and his Varsity Football teammates will host the Muskogee Hilldale Hornets in Memorial Stadium Friday night. The 1973 Broken Bow Savages will be honored at the game, celebrating the 50th anniversary of their historic back-to-back state championships. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30. Admission is $5 for all ages.
Broken Bow High School Varsity Cheer will compete in the OSSAA Class 4A Game Day Regionals on November 4th at Jay High School for a berth in the 2023 OSSAA CLASS 4A CHEER STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. The State Championship competition is scheduled for November 11th at Moore High School. The squad has many returning members from last season's state finalist team which also received the OSSAA Distinguished Academic Achievement Award. Our 2023/24 team’s cumulative GPA is 3.7 with more than half of the squad earning a 4.0 GPA or higher. Broken Bow Public Schools is proud to CHEER these scholar athletes on as they prepare for their upcoming competitions. #SAVAGESTRONG #SAVAGESPIRIT

Bennett Elementary has its very own cover model! Audrianna Ortiz has been featured in the September 2023 issue of Pageant Model. She has been involved in pageants since January 2021. She loves the crowning moment and seeing how amazing her and the other queens have performed. She also loves cheering on her fellow contestants.

The Broken Bow Savage Quizbowl team continued their run yesterday, winning both games. Our county record is now 6-2, and overall, we are 8-3. These guys are showing up and showing out! Play continues next Monday at Broken Bow.

Remember to save your can tabs. We would appreciate it very much.
The tabs do not only have to be from pop cans, any can with a pop tab counts. (Some classes may choose to keep a container in their classroom and deliver to 4H when the container is full.)
Our record of pop tabs has been 65 lbs. We would love to have more than that this year!

🗝️Key Club members volunteered at the Lukfata Harvest Carnival on Monday night. They had a great time running games such as bean bag toss and bingo.
Student Madisyn Morphew said, “We especially love helping children, seeing them smile and enjoying themselves!”
