Savages do it again! 🎮 Through a tumultuous and busy spring, Savage esports have found themselves eligible for playoffs in Oklahoma Scholastic Esports, the largest esports organization in Oklahoma! Playoffs will be held Wednesday and Thursday in the esports room! Those that wish to support their Savages with snacks or drinks, please contact Coach Kiper at jkiper@bbisdapp.org. Bennett Elementary STUDENT OF THE YEAR nominees had their interviews today!They were AMAZING! We will be announcing a Mr. Bennett Elementary Student of the Year AND a Miss Bennett Elementary Student of the Year because we could not choose just one‼️

OSSAA State Solo and Ensemble Contest is in the books! We are very proud teachers! Broken Bow choir students had a very successful day! Solo and Ensemble season is one of our favorite parts of the year because of all the growth that happens in our students. The goal is always to have better singers today than when we started this journey in January! High acheivement always takes place in the framework of high expectations and a lot of elbow grease. We are extremely proud of all of them. They stepped outside of their comfort zones and sang well. All Broken Bow entries received either superior or excellent ratings. Our bus of 24 students came home with 43 superior medals and 5 excellent certificates! They behaved well and they represented Broken Bow with nothing but class. I can’t end this post before I thank our accompanist Stefanie Jones for all of her hard work and invested time. We couldn’t have done it without her. And a special thank you to Harley Thomas for driving our bus and keeping us safe! It’s a great day to be a Savage!

We would like to Congratulate Alayah Harris on signing with Murray State College to be apart of their show team! Congrats Alayah! She will be majoring in veterinary nursing.

Today we met author Lois Lowry, the author of The Giver and Number the Stars. Several of our students received a copy of The Giver and were able to get it signed by the author. Other area schools were able to attend and the public library was the generous host at the high school auditorium. Thanks to everyone for coming!

Winner, winner! Easter Dinner! 😉🐣🐰 Mrs. Magar’s class tested their #engineering skills by teaming up to build jelly-bean towers. Jaxon Holleman and Destiny Henslee took the gold by creating the tallest tower to stand on its own! 🥇 Rinleigh Hobbs and Nadiya Neal took second by building the tallest tower to stand with assistance. 🥈
