With that, Savage #Esports is done for the season.
We went against undefeated Lawton MacArthur and walked away with a loss, earning the title of state runner up in our division.
We're not hanging our head in shame because we did more than we ever thought we could. This season has been full of ups and downs, but these kids have made it one of the best experiences of my life.
🎮Today, senior and Team Captain Hunter Haltom played his final game for Broken Bow High School. He pushed his team and challenged them and made sure we showed positivity and good sportsmanship to our opponents.
Hunter is one of five seniors we are saying good bye to this year. William Kemp, Jai'lin Scales, Trace Mulkey, and Andy Le will be entering the next stage of their lives and it's with a bittersweet heart that we say good bye and good luck!
Issac Harris joined us as thanks for his assistance in setting up our Savage Stream. We couldn't bring your Broken Bow Savages to your home without his help!
Finally, I want to thank the parents, community, administration, and teachers that make what we do possible. Without them, we'd never make it as far as we have!
I want to end with a brief sneak peek of what we have planned for Fall 2024. While I'm still making plans to make our team grow bigger and better, here's just a sample:
We are getting PCs! Thank you to Ms. Ellisor, Mr. Hanks and our wonderful administration! You make Teacher Appreciation a year long event!
We are expected to nearly double our team numbers next year!
Almost every game we play will be streamed, run primarily by students!
We are planning an in-person tournament to bring players from all over Oklahoma to our community!
More details will be given as they become more clear, but one thing is assured: Broken Bow Savage Esports is just getting started!💥

NOTICE: OSSAA Forms for Sports Physicals -The OSSAA recently adopted a new form for physical examinations to be used by all student athletes participating in school athletics. Upon further review of this document, Broken Bow Public Schools has determined that some of the questions in the medical history section of this new document may be considered as sensitive or even inappropriate in nature. While our school is required to use this document for our physical examinations, our student athletes are NOT required to answer any medical history questions which they or their parents/guardians deem to be too sensitive or inappropriate to answer.

🎓Today Broken bow High School Seniors participated in a Sr. Walk. They went to Dierks, Bennett, Middle School, and High School where students and staff cheered for them for achieving this milestone. They also received a Senior Shirt and had their classmates sign them. We are proud of our seniors and look forward to their bright futures!
