🎮Senior Masyn Williston is no stranger to sports. His mastery of College Football 25 led him to an undefeated season, priming him up to take his first state title!
Masyn’s first game was Excitebike, but his favorite game is the Lego Batman Trilogy! Masyn has a few tricks up his sleeves, but won his spot in state using the Texas Longhorns! Will he continue to Hook ‘Em? We’ll find out on the 17th!
Masyn intends on going to college to become a physical therapist or athletic trainer after high school.

His first game was Assassin’s Creed 2, but his favorite game is Borderlands 3. A lover of fighting games, Payson plans to carry his Captain Falcon to the top in Super Smash Bros! 🎮Gunner Pope holds the record of the most improved Super Smash Bros player in Savage Esports history!
Starting as one of the lowest ranked players, Gunner practiced and put everything into getting better, now earning his second state appearance! Gunner’s first game was the New Super Mario Bros 2, but his favorite game is the Binding of Isaac. Gunner has a few surprise characters up his sleeve, but his trusty Pyra/Mythra has led him true thus far!
Gunner plans to get a law degree when he graduates high school.

🏀The Savage Classic continues today at the Sports Complex with four more games on the schedule. Wright City and Centerpoint get things started at 4:00 PM with varsity girls action, followed by varsity boys.
Broken Bow will take on De Queen in the late games. Both girls team were easy winners on Friday, setting up tonight's showdown. The Broken Bow boys, who opened the season with a win on Friday, will face off against the Leopards in the nightcap game. Catch all the Broken Bow action on YouTube @BrokenBowSavages.

👦🏻👵🏻✍🏻Some of our 5th grade students had the opportunity to visit their penpals at ALPACA Retirement Community yesterday!
For the past couple of months, students have been writing handwritten letters to their penpals, and reading the letters their penpals send to them.
While meeting their penpal yesterday they were able to practice “having a conversation in person.” The students also sang some Christmas carols during the visit!
Mrs. Clardy said, “the students really enjoyed this experience, and are looking forward to continuing to write to their people for the rest of the school year!”
❄️Students that met their AR (accelerated reading) goal in Mrs. Crenshaw's ELA (English Language Arts) class in November had the opportunity to make snow! Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) mixed with conditioner creates an endothermic reaction and makes the mixture feel “cold.”#BrrrrrrilliantAtBennett

🎓Broken Bow High School is pleased to announce that two seniors have been selected as a Semi-Finalist for the Gates Scholarship. Congratulations to Peyton Brannan and Emery Noah!
Congratulations to student Quinn Willis! She was crowned the 2024-2025 District 2 Little Miss Choctaw Nation earlier this year at Choctaw Landing in Hochatown.
Quinn is the 8 year old daughter of Brad and Amber Willis of Broken Bow and attends Bennett Elementary where she is in the 3rd grade.
Quinn’s hobbies include drawing and she likes to play softball, soccer and basketball. Quinn actively participates in her culture through stickball, social dancing, learning hymns at church and the language with the Choctaw Nation nest program.
🏈The 2024 District 4A-4 All-District Football Awards were announced recently and include several Broken Bow Savages.
