⏰Getting ready for back to school after a holiday winter break can be both exciting and a bit daunting. Here are three top ways to prepare: 1. Organize Supplies and Materials: Taking inventory of your school supplies and cleaning and organizing your backpack or study area will help create a conducive learning environment. 2. Set a Routine: Establish a daily schedule. Gradually adjusting your sleep schedule to ensure you’re well-rested for school can also make the transition smoother. 3. Review and Plan: Spend a little time reviewing what you learned before the break and setting academic goals for the new term can also motivate you to stay focused. By following these steps, you can ease the transition back to school and set yourself up for success! See you Tuesday, Savages!

🕊️It is with great sorrow that we announce the loss of a beloved member of our elementary faculty, Mrs. Nancy Reid, who passed away on Sunday, December 29th. Mrs. Reid taught third grade at Bennett Elementary School and was a career educator, shaping young minds for more than three decades. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of our Savage family. Grief counselors will be available when classes resume at Bennett next week for any students or staff who may need them.

In the week before Christmas, in Mrs. R. Wright’s class, The students spread cheer, with ‘spirit week’ sass! From ugly sweaters worn with glee, To Santa and Grinch, what a sight to see! With Christmas headgear and flannels on tight, They celebrated together, their spirits were bright. The final day came, it was PJ glow, With the Grinch shouting, “Ho Ho Ho! CHUGGA CHUGGA CHOO CHOO 🚂🎄 Day 4 of Christmas Magic Week 🌟 It’s Polar Express Day! Mrs. Davis’ Pre-K class watched the movie in the morning and after lunch took a fun field trip to the historic Dierks Train 227 in Broken Bow! 🚉 Their ticket included a stop at KJ’s Coffee Shop, where Kyler Price had a special package from Santa! 🎁 It was the “first gift of Christmas” for those who can “hear the bell and have the spirit of Christmas in their hearts.” ❤️🔔 The visit was made even sweeter with a cup of delicious hot chocolate! ☕️ The Pre-K travelers also made a pit stop to do a little caroling at the home of Carl and Maxine McGee! 🎤🎶 The kids said if the Polar Express pulled up to their houses on Christmas Eve they would hop on and ride to the North Pole! 🏔️✨

Savage FAM, look at these quality student made books! Mrs. Rich’s class is learning about “sequence.” The goal was to understand the importance of sequence by using graphic software to create these cute no-bake recipe books. The students are going to give them to their families as Christmas presents. So, if you receive one please know they were lovingly made just for you! We hope you can prepare one of the recipes together for the holidays. ❤️💚#BrilliantAtBennett
