🏈It's Game Day! Savage Football (3-1) heads over the mountains today for a crucial district showdown against unbeaten Sallisaw (4-0). This game is an opportunity for Broken Bow to make its case as a legitimate contender for the District 4A-4 Championship. The Black Diamonds defeated the Savages 24-13 last season in Sallisaw. Sallisaw's homecoming ceremonies begin at 6:30 PM tonight with kickoff planned for 7:00. The Savages await the winner of Mannford vs Vinita which is scheduled to begin at noon on Thursday. #SavageSoftball #TakeState

The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority. As a precaution, we have initiated our emergency protocols and have evacuated the high school and middle school campuses. Our students are safe and we are working closely with law enforcement officials regarding this threat. Our Administration has requested a warrant to investigate the source of these anonymous threats and will pursue this investigation diligently. Dierks Elementary and Bennett Elementary Schools are currently on lockdown, and students are safe in their classrooms. Please do not come to the school until further notice. 🥎It's Fastpitch Playoff Time! The OSSAA Class 4A Region 12 Tournament begins today at noon in Savage Softball Stadium. Broken Bow (19-9) plays Inola (9-20) in game 1, followed by Mannford (22-6) taking on Vinita (9-17) in game 2. Second round games of the double-elimination bracket are scheduled to begin at 4:00 P.M. today, with the final two rounds scheduled for Thursday afternoon. Tickets are available at the gate for $10 each (all ages/cash only). Broken Bow Schools encourages fair play and good sportsmanship among all the players, coaches and fans of the event.
