ATTENTION RJMS PARENTS: Starting the week of September 4th RJMS will be offering after-school Homework Help. This program is offered as a free service and on a voluntary basis. Should you decide to send your child to this after school program, they must have a specific assignment that they bring with them to work on each day. Once Homework Help ends each day, students should promptly be picked up near the flagpole area in front of RJMS at 4:25pm.

Wednesday I had the privilege to visit Biology class under the instruction of Mr. Michael Cox....better known to the students at BBHS as Mr. "C."
The lesson revolved around Steps to the Scientific Method.
While taste testing three types of cookies....Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle and my personal favorite, No-Bake.....students learned how to use points of data, draw bar graphs, and a class survey as their method of measure to answer the scientific question, "Which cookie is the best?"
It was a great day to see minds at work.
Mr. "C" wrapped up the lesson with, "Science can be fun and tasty!"
