Broken Bow Public Schools is putting “the love of learning” back into education one program at a time.
Mrs. Kiper, a teacher at Bennett Elementary, is heading up the schools new STEAM class for grades 3rd-5th. Students will go to STEAM twice a week for 45 minutes.
STEAM Education is an approach to teaching and learning that combines science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math to guide student inquiry, discussion, and problem-solving. Education experts say STEAM education is about more than developing practical skills alone. This approach helps students explore and learn in ways that spark creativity and imagination!✨ #SavageInnovation #BrilliantAtBennett

🕕6th graders go through an entire day of orientation on the first day of school to help them acclimate to the change from elementary to middle school.
At RJMS we try to make the day special as we know it is such a change for both parents and students. 🖤💛
This year's "theme" is A Walk Through the Park (Jurassic Park)🦖🦕

📱Officer Jefferson reminds us to add the ProtectOK APP to our phones.
The ProtectOK app consolidates all suspicious activity reporting into one easy-to-use platform. The app allows users to report suspicious activity without giving a name, making anonymous reporting easy. #SavageSafety #SavageStrong

If your High School student was told that we didn't have their Chromebook agreement, we have solved the issue and they will be called to the library to check out their chromebook. We apologize for the confusion and anxiety. Thanks for being understanding and supportive!

In the spirit of back to school BBHS FCCLA is sharing some meet the teacher info about our amazing Advisers.
Mrs. Anderson is as sweet as the treats she bakes! Cooking is her passion and she loves sharing that passion with her students.
And...
We love Mrs. Stafford's energy and her humor and are so happy to announce the arrival of her sweet bundle of joy! If you are enrolled in one of Mrs. Stafford’s courses she will be returning to school in September and cannot wait to get to meet you all!
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a Career and Technical Student Organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum within the school system.

Olympic champions often wind up on a cereal box but when politics denied Broken Bow’s James “Bullet” Butler his opportunity to win Olympic gold, he wound up inside the cereal box instead.

🎮On the first day of Esports class, students learned how to set up an Esports room!
Thanks to generous contributions by Broken Bow administration, we had a lot of equipment to set up and these kids were up to the task!
Students learned lessons on teamwork, following written and verbal directions as well as the all important skill of cable management.
If it looks like chaos, it's because it was, but the students had an air of excitement: The season is just getting started!

❤️🍎WELCOME TO OUR TEAM
Debbie Scales
Cross Country Coach
“I am super excited to be starting my 1st year of coaching with Broken Bow Public Schools. I have 4 amazing kids who all attend BBPS, one recently graduated and is off to serve our country in the Army. I have been coaching AAU track and field for 3 years and cross country for 1. We have made 4 national appearances combined for Junior Olympics! So to be given the opportunity to do something I love is amazing. My motto is 'Dream Big Work Hard' and that's what I hope to achieve. Most of the kids know me from substituting or coaching little league sports here in our town. I can't wait to get to work with them in the sport I love.”
