
Chauncey Owens represented the Broken Bow Trap Shooting Team in the Oklahoma Scholastic Shooting Sports State Competition.
Over 1,200 kids competed at the regional shoot to earn the opportunity to compete at the state competition.
Chauncey shot a 24 out of 25, which was tied for the 2nd highest score shot at the competition! After predetermined tie breakers were figured, Chauncey finished with a 5th place state finish in the Sr. Male Division.
Chauncey also qualified for the Sporting Clays State Shoot in the fall!
Congratulations to Chauncey for all the hard work and a job well done!

The Broken Bow FFA competed in the County Land Judging contest today and came home with a 3rd place team finish.
Gunner Pope had the overall individual high score and won the $300.00 Bob Reasoner Memorial scholarship for his efforts.

📢Attention Parents/Guardian of 8th Grade RJMS Students:
On Monday, April 14th, Mrs. Walls will be in the middle school to begin Pre-Enrollment with the 8th-grade students going into the 9th grade. An #enrollment packet, including an academic planner, course list, and 4-year plan, will be sent home with each student. Every form must be completely filled out and returned to school by April 24th. Enrollment packets that are not complete or returned by the due date may result in the student being unable to start classes on the first day of school. Broken Bow Girls Varsity Track brought home the championship team trophy from the 2025 Skippy Smith Relays in Idabel on Thursday. The boys captured second place at the meet.
Both teams will be back in action on a Tuesday at the Durant Track Meet.
