🏃‍➡️Broken Bow’s XCountry star Landon Thweatt has competed in Muldrow, finishing 8th out of 109 runners! With the State meet just a few weeks away, there's still work to do, but Coach Scales expresses pride in Landon's dedication during practice. 🏆Earlier this year, Landon set a new BBHS boys' 5k record with an impressive time of 18:04. Additionally, Landon is involved with Savage Signal and some of the photography featured on our social media is attributed to his talent. Notably, his coach is also a talented photographer and graphic artist whose work is also represented here. #SavageSkills #SavageTalent #RunningDownADream (Video in comments)

🥎Savage Softball's 4-3 win over Eufaula combined with Poteau's 3-2 loss to Stigler on Thursday clinches the 2025 District 4A-6 Championship for Broken Bow. Congratulations to all of our players and coaches for this well-deserved honor! An OSSAA Class 4A Regional Playoff Bracket will be hosted in Broken Bow on October 2nd and 3rd.

🥎Mylee Williams was 3 for 3 with a homerun and two runs batted in as Savage Softball downed Eufaula 4-3 and guaranteed themselves at least a tie for the District 4A-6 Championship. Broken Bow improved to 11-0 in district play and travels to Poteau on Tuesday for their final district game of the season. #SavageSoftball

🥎SCHEDULE CHANGE: The Broken Bow Varsity Girls Softball vs. Valliant game scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) has been moved to Monday September 29th @ Valliant at 5:00.

🗓️ SCHEDULE CHANGES JV Softball vs Durant JV is cancelled today Varsity & JV Softball make up games at Eufaula today JV Football vs Talihina tonight - kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.

🏈The Savage Varsity has the week off this week so the junior varsity takes center stage instead as they take on the Talihina Varsity Tigers, the top ranked team in Class A. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at Memorial Stadium. Admission is $5 per person (all ages) and season passes are accepted. Come out and cheer on these young athlete tonight!

🏃🏽‍➡️Broken Bow Cross Country ATHLETE OF THE WEEK ⭐️Juan Medina Juan is consistently dedicated to improving each and every day. He works hard on and off the field including extra practices with Coach Scales Notably, his times have improved each and every meet. Coach Scales says, “He always beats me to practice and is usually the last to leave with his dad. I’m proud of this kid and I see big things in his future!” Congratulations Juan!

🥎Tyson Woolsey pitched a three-hit shutout and Khloe Williams drove in a pair of runs as Savage Softball took over sole possession of first place in District 4A-6 with a 4-0 win over Poteau. These two teams will play again next week in Poteau as the regular season winds down and teams scramble for playoff spots. The district champions will host a regional playoff bracket in a couple of weeks.

🏈Tonight's RJMS Football games against McAlester have changed locations and will now be played at Broken Bow. Kickoff of the 7th grade game is at 5:30 PM, followed by the 8th grade game. The 7th and 8th grade games scheduled for October 21st will also change locations and will now be played at McAlester. The 9th grade football game originally scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

🎮Big shoutout to our Esports Team! This past Saturday they hit the ground running. Built in less than a week, this Overwatch 2 team rolled into the first of 3 in-person events, and the energy was unmatched. Savage Esports went head-to-head with Yukon Varsity, Yukon JV, and Atoka… and came out undefeated! Every player stepped up, adapted, and overcame. Proud is an understatement and this is only the beginning! #EsportsReports

🥎It's BIG Game Day!

Savage Softball puts its district winning streak to the test today against Poteau. Both teams are unbeaten in District 4A-6 action and will meet twice in the next week to decide which team will reign as the 2025 district champions and host a regional playoff series. First pitch is at 5:00 PM at Savage Softball Stadium.

🏃🏽‍➡️Broken Bow XCountry results: Landon hit the course at pre-state in North Rock Creek, finishing strong in 30th place out of a competitive field of around 300 runners. Today in Battiest, the young athletes brought their A-game: - In the 3rd and under girls' race, Cashlyn clinched 1st place, while Amilyan crossed the line in 3rd. - For the boys in the same age group, Samuel snagged 2nd place. In the 4th through 6th grade girls' division, Heaven powered through for a solid 3rd place finish, while Juan represented the boys with a commendable 10th place. Moving up to the junior high, the 7th and 8th grade girls showed their strength with Jivayia taking the gold in 1st, Teghen securing silver in 2nd, and D'Lyric finishing strong in 4th. On the boys' side, Josiya raced to 2nd place, followed closely by Austin in 3rd, Menbit in 4th, and Cason rounding it out in 6th. Great effort all around!
