Say cheese! It's group picture day for our high school and middle school.

Time now for our Bennett Wild Wednesday feature and today we are wild about Kylie Caffey!
Mrs. Caffey has been in the education field for three years now and looks forward to many more to come.
She feels connecting with students and watching them grow as individuals is what makes her wild about teaching!
Kylie's favorite teacher treat is anything with dark chocolate + caramel!

Reducing absenteeism is an essential, but often overlooked, strategy for responding strategically to the academic and social-emotional loss experienced by millions of students. School and district attendance data can be used to identify which student groups have lost out most on opportunities to learn during the pandemic and ensure they are prioritized in recovery planning. Effective strategies to improve attendance can benefit the entire community. Congratulations to our winners for last weeks perfect attendance! #beingpresentatbennett #everydaymatters #brokenbowsonic #bbowsonic #sonic #limeadesforlearning #mission #attendanceworks

AILYC members, Zaiya Ward and D’Lyric Mitchell creating orange shirts to wear Thursday, October 5th "Every Child Matters" Day.
American Indian Leadership Youth Council will wear orange in honor of children forced into boarding school against their will. Most were abused, and many did not survive and never saw their homes or families again. We wear orange to remember and honor these children. We are asking all students, even those not in AILYC to wear orange on Thursday. AILYC will entertain you on Thursday at 11 with our social dances and a small program.
Join us in the 4 square area at 11 to pay our respects. #everychildmatters
