Savages - we do have local Law Enforcement and ATF on the scene. All phone service providers are working to find the culprits responsible. We are evacuating again. We will follow the same dismissal procedures as yesterday. We apologize for this inconvenience and emotional upheaval. As always, the safety of our students is our highest priority.

Thank you for asking! Towels and soaps donations for the Broken Bow Savages Football Team can be made at the high school or field house!
The regular season gets underway next Friday Night at home against McAlester. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30. Reserve your season passes from Coach Sundberg today by calling 580-775-1646. Passes are $50 per seat.

On behalf of the BBHS Staff many thanks and much gratitude for your support today!
-Mike McGee, Principal

Unfortunately, events like today are never fun. However, BBISD and Dierks Elementary will always err on the side of caution. With that being said, I would like to thank all of our parents/guardians for their patience and understanding as we dismissed nearly 400 of our babies today. It went as smoothly as possible thanks to you all and our wonderful staff. Also, a big thank you to the students. They were so well behaved and such good listeners, so please take a minute to brag on them at home this evening. We look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow as we wrap up our first full week of school. It's been just nearly perfect! 🖤💛
Thank you,
Lindsay Gaston, Principal
Dierks Elementary

It’s during stressful days like today that we truly are reminded of what great staff and students we truly have. Thank you all for stepping up today. Thank you also to the parents who came quickly, stayed calm and understanding during dismissal. Lastly a huge thank you to local and area law enforcement that kept us safe and handled the traffic during dismissal.
-Rector Johnson Middle School

A special THANK YOU to parents and guardians! 💛🖤

Students may now go to the BBHS parking lot to pick up their cars. We appreciate all members of the Savage Family!

Thank you for working with us as we navigate these situations.

Hello Savages!
For those that do not know me, I am Mr. Kiper, history teacher and ESports coach. We are getting ready to start up the Fall 2023 season and we are ready to bring in some new players to our team!
For those unaware, the Broken Bow ESports team in their first year of existence took over a dozen kids to state, a feat many in our League have yet to achieve in several years!
ESports provides additional opportunities to learn the ever important skills of communication, coordination, teamwork, and healthy competition. There are also hundreds of scholarship opportunities!
If you are interested in trying out, please meet us in the NEWLY RENOVATED ESports room, second floor of the northeast corner of the Sports Complex August 17th and 18th!
Please note that ESports is held after school, so you will need to arrange for transportation. Tryouts should only last an hour to an hour and a half.
August 17th will be tryouts for Divine Knockout (like a 3D Super Smash Bros.), Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate, and Paladins (if new Overwatch updates have ruined your love of the game, come try this!)
August 18th will be Halo: Infinite and Rocket League.
If you are unable to make it to these times, have no fear. Come and talk to me in room N106 and we can work out a time to get you involved.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Thank you and have a fantastic day!

This is Joycelyn DeVore. She spoke to staff and teachers from both Bennett and Deirks about her experience in the Marshall Islands. Joycelyn assisted our staff and teachers in better understanding the culture of the families we have that originate from the pacific islands. This helps us better serve our students and families and meet their educational needs. She also brought some of her belongings that she received from the islands, explained their significance and background. 📷Kayla McGee

📸SENIOR PICTURE DAY! Senior pictures will be taken on Tuesday, August 22. You only need to bring your sitting fee which is $15. Bring the exact amount as we will not be able to make change.
