Broken Bow High School Seniors received over 3.1 million dollars in scholarships to assist with their future education and training. In addition to those listed below, 22 students met the requirements for Oklahoma’s Promise, and 35 are eligible for funding from their respective tribes.
Ramon Arriaga received a Theater scholarship from Southeastern Oklahoma State University worth $4,000.
Mykayla Angel received a Broncho Blue Achievement scholarship from University of Central Oklahoma worth $2,000.
Kaydence Barnes received Broncho Blue Achievement and High School Counselor scholarships from University of Central Oklahoma totaling $3,000, and the Bob Burke Drama/Speech/Journalism scholarship worth $1,000.
Cale Bible received the following scholarships from the University of Oklahoma: National Award, Computer Science INCLUDES, National Award Freshman Addition, President’s Leadership Class, Engineering, Study Abroad, and Joan Neustadt Weil scholarships totaling $105,938. Cale also received a Baccalaureate Scholars scholarship worth $57,788 from Northeastern State University; a Baccalaureate Scholars scholarship worth $48,400 from East Central University; a Presidential Distinguished scholarship worth $44,000 from Southern Arkansas University; a Regional University Baccalaureate scholarship worth $43,370 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University; an Oklahoma Christian President’s Scholarship worth $40,000; an Academic Excellence, Engineering Initiative, and Academic All-State scholarships from Oklahoma State University totaling $22,500; a Boys State Delegates scholarship worth $40,000 from Rogers State University. He also received a Samsung Scholarship worth $1,250; Texas-Oklahoma Sophomore of the Year scholarship worth $600; Elks scholarship worth $800; Academic All-State scholarship worth $1,500; Junior Chamber Leadership scholarship worth $750; Huber Engineered Woods STEM scholarship worth $1,000; Cobell Scholarship worth $5,000; CCOSA scholarship worth $1,000; W.C.
