Broken Bow public schools began the new 2023/24 school year this morning with traditional “First Day” greetings.

Superintendent Carla Ellisor explained, “As is tradition, this morning I made my way through every classroom and hallway to say ‘Welcome Back!’ I was reminded, as I am each year, how much I love my job, the awesome people I get to work with, and most importantly....my students.  Being in the "kid business" for over 30 years has been and continues to be priceless.”

Later, in a note to Broken Bow teachers and staff Ellisor said, “The hallways and doors look phenomenal!  Thank you for the time you have spent making your rooms welcoming for our students and their families.  And, by the way, all of you looked amazing in your Back-To-School fashions as well!”

“I was reminded once again of how thankful I am for the people I get to work with every day.  We have something very special here in Broken Bow and I want to thank you for choosing to be a part of our school family.  You make my job easier and if there is anything at all I can do for you in return, please let me know,” she concluded.
