FAFSA Night
BBHS senior students and parents are invited to our FAFSA night to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online, a form that must be completed for your student to qualify for federal and some state financial aid for college assistance.
WHEN: Tuesday, October 11, 2022
4:00-7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Broken Bow High School Library
RSVP: Parent/guardian must schedule an appointment time by October 10 by completing this form https://forms.gle/
*Remember—complete the FSA ID before you come and bring it with you to the meeting and bring your Chromebook or laptop.
To apply for an FSA ID, go to FSAID.ed.gov
Determine your dependency status at StartWithFAFSA.org/Resources. If you’re a dependent student, you’ll also need your parent(s)’ information and your parent will need to create their own FSA ID.
What you need to fill out your FAFSA online:
1. Social Security number
2. 2021 W2 forms and/or tax returns
3. Driver’s license
Complete your FAFSA online before December to qualify for extra funding.
*To complete and submit the FAFSA, go to FAFSA.gov
USE THE DATA RETRIEVAL TOOL that is offered as you are completing it. This will directly input your tax documentation and lessen the chances of mistakes. NEVER PAY ANYONE TO HELP YOU COMPLETE A FAFSA! You will also never have to give your credit card information when completing the FAFSA. If you are asked for credit card information, you are on the wrong website.
*See linked documents for more information regarding financial aid.
