***Updated***Class of 2020 Graduation Plans
Good evening. After listening to today’s (4/29) teleconference with State Superintendent, Joy Hofmeister, we have made an update for high school graduation and other senior activities. It is IMPORTANT to remember that these plans are contingent on future information we receive regarding social distancing guidance from state and federal governments. These dates are being shared to provide students and families with as much time as possible to plan. While a summer graduation is not ideal— and may exclude participation from some seniors in the graduating class—we believe it is the best current option. Please continue to watch for any upcoming announcements or changes. Thank you for continuing to support Broken Bow Schools. Carla Ellisor, Superintendent.

Class of 2020 Commencement - 8:00pm - Memorial Stadium
Broken Bow High School graduation will be held at Memorial Stadium on June 13, 2020 at 8:00 pm. We are happy to be able to celebrate this time with our well deserving seniors. However, given the fact that we have a rising number of COVID 19 cases in McCurtain County, we will be following guidelines that will help protect our students, faculty, and guests.
- Each graduate will receive 10 tickets to be given to family and friends to attend. Graduates will receive these tickets at graduation practice on Friday, June 12th at 9:00 am.
- Graduates will be required to wear masks that will be provided by the school.
- Graduates will be spaced 6 feet apart at all times during the ceremony.
- Spectators are strongly encouraged to wear masks.
- Spectators may also choose to bring lawn chairs to sit in designated areas to help maintain social distancing.
The graduation ceremony will be livestreamed on the following website:http://www.citylinktv.com/channel/broken-bow-home-of-the-savages/
We encourage all who are at a higher risk to consider watching the ceremony in the safety of their home. If the graduation cannot be held due to inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for the following Monday at 10:00 am.
We will post updates, as they are available, on this page and the official Facebook page of Broken Bow School.
