We need your help and participation with this technology survey. It's purpose is to check to see what access you have in your home for your Broken Bow Public School students to use for instructional purposes. We've recently been informed that pending the results of the State School Board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 25th, we will soon be asked to finish the school year using distance learning. In order to do this, we need first to determine what technologies our students have available at home to use for instructional purposes. This information will be used to create an instructional plan for each of our students. Thank you for your assistance with this survey. Please share this survey with other Broken Bow Public School District Parents.

At Broken Bow Public Schools, the safety and well-being of students and employees is our top priority. We continue to monitor the evolving health crisis caused by coronavirus. We are adhering to guidance from the Oklahoma State Department of Health, State Department of Education, the CDC, and McCurtian County Emergency Management in all decisions made.

The Oklahoma State School Board has voted unanimously to close all Oklahoma Public Schools until April 6.  This includes the cessation of all instructional and extracurricular activities.

We realize this action has a tremendous impact on our students and their families, but we are making this decision out of an abundance of caution. Thank you for your understanding and for partnering with us as we take the necessary steps to protect our school community.  Local school leaders have developed a plan to offer breakfast and lunch to all of our students during the closure.  The details regarding this plan may be found HERE.

Again, the situation is being closely monitored and we will keep you apprised of any changes.  Please continue to refer to our school website, www.bbisd.org, and the official Facebook page of Broken Bow Public Schools.  If you need to make contact with Broken Bow Public Schools during the extended closure beginning March 23 through April 6, please direct all communication to our Central Office at 580-584-3306. If no one is available to take your call, please leave a detailed message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
