RJMS READING INFORMATION
Mrs. Specks' 6th, 7th, and 8th grade reading classes focus on Oklahoma PASS skill to help equip students to score proficient on the Criteria Reference Tests.
Mrs. Hills's 6th grade reading classes are required to read 2 books at grade level during each nine week's grading period. For the 4th 9 weeks, the first book test is due on March 29th, and the second book test is due on April 1st.
Mrs. Williams' 7th grade reading classes are required to read 2 books at grade level during each nine week's grading period. A summary/analysis sheet is also mandatory for the required test. For the 4th 9 weeks, the first book test is due on March 31st, and the second book test is due on April 27th.
Mrs. Hanks' 8th grade reading classes are required to read 2 books at grade level during each nine week's grading period. A summary/analysis sheet is also mandatory for the required test. For the 4th 9 weeks, the first book test is due on March 30, and the second book test is due on April 13th.
RJMS conducts reading competitions between the 6th through 8th grades to promote reading proficiency and excellence.
