MISSION STATEMENT
The Broken Bow High School Student Council is committed to embracing and promoting the school's mission. We will also strive to develop, encourage, and promote school policies. The Council will lead the student body with a gentle strength, while respecting each individual and each other. We acknowledge a commitment to service and sensitivity to the diversity and needs of the general student population. In school activities we will encourage and work to create enthusiasm and spirit among our students and faculty. The Council will also function as the liaison for student concerns and as a student advocate to the administration and the community.
STUDENT COUNCIL'S PURPOSE
- Foster better relations between the faculty and the student body.
- Promote school spirit and encourage loyalty.
- Promote a spirit of unity and cooperation.
- Provide an agency for the promotion and encouragement of student activities.
- Carry out these purposes ethically and with integrity.
- Promote a healthy relationship between the community and the student leaders at BBHS.
