Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The break was good for all of us, but now we are back and have a lot of work ahead of us.
I know its just January but the one thing that is already on our mind (as it always is) is the end-of-the-year tests that all of our students are required to take. Just wanted to remind you of these tests and which grades take which tests.
• Third Grade takes a Math and a Reading test in April.
• Fourth Grade takes a Math and a Reading test in April.
• Fifth Grade takes a Writing test in February, and Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies tests in April.
As you all know, these tests are important to you, your children, the teachers, the school, and our town. Please do what you can to help us prepare our students for these tests.
Upcoming dates to remember are as follows:
• January 16 – MLK Day, No School
• February 17 – Teacher’s Meeting, No School
• February 21 – President’s Day, No School
• March 19-23 – Spring Break, No School
